Dr. Nick Hamlin, PT, DPT, Cert-DN
A 2006 graduate of Central Michigan University, he attained a bachelor of science in health fitness in preventative and rehabilitative programs with a minor in nutrition studies. He pursued further education and received his doctorate in physical therapy in 2010. Nick has been heavily engaged in outpatient orthopedic practice since that time. He brings 20+ years of experience working in physical therapy settings with him to his practice here in beautiful, Gaylord, Michigan.
He has received further education and training in functional/trigger point dry needling, Graston Technique, manual therapy techniques for the management of low back pain through NAIOMT, lumbar and cervical pain, modern management of the older adult, clinical management of the fitness athlete, and professional bike fitment through the Institute of Clinical Excellence, shoulder pain and dysfunctions, as well as applied functional science through the Gray Institute.
Highlights of Nick’s career so far have been being invited to the United States Olympic Training Center in New York in the Winter of 2017, where he worked with U.S. Olympic Bobsled, Luge, Skeleton, Biathlon, Freestyle Aerial Skiing and Rhythmic Gymnastics teams. He is also a member of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team’s volunteer clinician pool, allowing him the opportunity to work with members of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team on location world-wide.
Nick’s personal interests include spending time with his wife, Brittanie, and their two beautiful daughters. Hobbies include skiing, mountain biking, CrossFit, golfing, camping, snowboarding, snowshoeing and playing hockey.
Dr. Brittany Beyers, PT, DPT
Brittany is a native of Gaylord, MI. She graduated High School at GHS in 1995. She attended Central Michigan University thereafter and completed her undergraduate education in 1999. Immediately following that she attended Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where she completed a masters degree in physical therapy and then subsequently obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2002.
Her husband, Dave, and her have 3 children. She enjoys running and spending time with family and friends on the boat in the summers here in Northern Michigan and traveling as much as possible. Brittany specializes in pelvic floor therapy.
We are so excited for her for qualifying for the Boston Marathon 2025!
Amber Agee, Receptionist
Amber has taken over our all-encompassing front desk position and she’s totally rocking it! Amber was born in Pontiac, MI and currently lives in Atlanta, MI. She obtained her Medical Assistance certification in 2023 through Munson Healthcare Center in Gaylord and previously worked as a Medical Assistant and Medical Business Specialist.
She loves spending time with her family and two adorable daughters, playing volleyball, spending time at the beach, snowboarding, hiking, and cheering on our Detroit Lions!
Brooke Stevens, Patient Care Assistant
Brooke was born and raised in Gaylord, Michigan and graduated from St. Mary Cathedral School in 2020. She recently graduated with honors from Michigan State University in the spring of 2024 with a bachelor of science in physiology. While at MSU, Brooke was an active member of a service club, Project Sunshine, that worked to provide joy and play to pediatric patients. She was also fortunate to have the opportunity to intern with MSU Athletic Performance working with the Michigan State hockey team during the 2023-2024 season. It was this experience that has led her to pursue a career where she can help others get back to moving and feeling good!
Outside of work, Brooke likes to work out, golf, read, attend sporting events, and spend time with friends and family. She is also an avid fan of MSU hockey and the Detroit Redwings!

Avery grew up in Gaylord and graduated from Gaylord High School in 2021 as an Academic Scholar. She then furthered her education at Michigan State University where she graduated in December 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology. While at MSU, she was a part of the Pre-Physical/Occupational Therapy Association where, along with other students, she learned about the process of applying to graduate school. She was also an avid Michigan State football fan and a four year member of the Izzone. This past year, she interned and worked at ARCH Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapy Technician before she moved back home and began her role at H2 Move. She plans on applying to graduate programs with hopes of going back to school to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While at home, she also works occasionally at The Pine Squirrel where she has been a server for four years. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, reading, watching sports, listening to music, painting, and spending time with her friends and family.

Kelly Opperman, Receptionist
Kelly has been proud to call Gaylord Michigan home since 2011. She enjoys an active lifestyle, spending her time working out, going to the gym, and soaking up Northern Michigan summers on the water. She treasures moments with family and friends and loves traveling. She keeps life fun, active, and meaningful.
